چکیده

Much evidence has been collected to date which shows that repulsive electron-electron interaction can lead to the formation of particle pairs in a one-dimensional random energy landscape. The localization length λ2 of these pair states is finite, but larger than the localization length λ1 of the individual particles. After a short review of previous work, we present numerical evidence for this effect based on an analysis of the interaction matrix elements and an application of the decimation method. The results based on the decima-tion method for a two-dimensional disordered medium support the localization-delocalization transition of pair states predicted recently.

Delocalization of two interacting particles in a random potential: one-dimensional electric interaction

We consider a continuous one dimensional model of two charged interacting particles in a random potential. The electric repulsion is strictly one dimensional and it inhibits Anderson localization. In fact, the spectrum is continuous. The case of electrical attraction is briefly studied and it shows bounded states. So, the dynamics is sign-dependent for this model. We support our analytical resul...

Breit - Wigner width for two interacting particles in one - dimensional random potential

For two interacting particles (TIP) in one-dimensional random potential the dependence of the Breit-Wigner width Γ, the local density of states and the TIP localiza-tion length on system parameters is determined analytically. The theoretical predictions for Γ are confirmed by numerical simulations.

Two interacting particles in a random potential : The random matrix model

We reinvestigate the validity of mapping the problem of two onsite interacting particles in a random potential onto an eeective random matrix model. To this end we rst study numerically how the non-interacting basis is coupled by the interaction. Our results indicate that the typical coupling matrix element decreases signiicantly faster with increasing single-particle localization length than i...

Laminar Flame Speed Prediction in Lean Mixture of Aluminum Dust Clouds by Considering the Effect of Random Distribution of Particles in Two-dimension

In the present study, the effect of random distribution of reactants and products on laminar, 2D and steady-state flame propagation in aluminium particles has been investigated. The equations are solved only for lean mixture. The flame structure is assumed to consist of a preheat zone, a reaction zone and a post flame zone. It is presumed that in the preheat zone particles are heated an...
